1. How to install Job board Plugin from your dashboard

1. Log in to your site as an administrator.

        2. Go to your Dashboard and find the menu on your left.

        3. Select “Plugins” => “Add new”.

        4. Find the Search field.

        5. Type “Job Board” there and press “Enter”.

        6. You will see a list of plugins.

        7. Find the necessary plugin in the list. Please read the description carefully to be sure you select the right plugin.

        8. Click “Install now”.

        9. A popup window will ask you to confirm your wish to install the Plugin. Click “OK”.

        10. The resulting installation screen will list the installation as successful or note any problems during the install.

11. Click “Activate Plugin”.

        12. Job board is activated! It will appear in the list of Installed Plugins.

2. How to install Job board Plugin from GitHub

1. Go to https://bestwebsoft.com/products/job-board/download and click “Download from GitHub.”

        2. You will be redirected to the page with the latest plugin version. Click “Download ZIP.”

        3. A popup window will suggest the place to save. Select “Desktop” and click “Save”:

        4. Make sure that the zip-file has appeared on your desktop.

5. Extract the Plugin folder to your desktop.

        6. Read through the "readme" file thoroughly to ensure you follow the installation instructions.

        7. With your FTP program upload the ‘job-board’ folder to the /wp-content/plugins/ folder in your Wordpress directory online.

NB: In case the name of your extracted folder differs from the name specified in the readme file (i.e. ‘job-board’), please change its name to that in the readme file.

        8. Find the plugins menu on your left and click “Installed plugins”. You will see a list of installed plugins:

        9. Find “Job board” and click “Activate”.

        10. Job board is activated!

3. How to install Job board Plugin from wordpress.org

1. Go to https://wordpress.org/plugins/job-board/ and click “Download Version 1.0.3” (always the latest one is available).

        2. A popup window will suggest the place to save. Select “Desktop” and click “Save”:

        3. Make sure that the zip-file has appeared on your desktop.

        4. Extract the Plugin folder to your desktop.

        5. Read through the "readme" file thoroughly to ensure you follow the installation instructions.

4. Alternative way of installation

This way of installation is preferable when you download the plugin folder by using a download link (mostly in case with Pro versions). In this case you do not have to extract the folder with the plugin to your desktop, it will be extracted automatically in your dashboard.

1. Make sure there is the plugin’s zip-folder on your desktop.

        2. Click “Plugins" in the menu on the left in your admin area.

        3. Click “Add new” at the top of the page.

        

4. Click “Upload Plugin”.

        5. Click “Browse”.

        6. A pop-up window will ask you to choose the file. Select job-board zip-folder and click “Open”.

        7. Click “Install Now”.

        8. The resulting installation screen will list the installation as successful or note any problems during the install.

        9. Click “Activate plugin”.

        10. Job board is activated!

5. How to use the plugin

1. Find the menu on your left.

        2. Select “BWS Plugins” => ”Job board”.

        3. You will see Job board Settings page.

        4. Configure the plugin the way you like.

        5. Click “Save Changes”.

        6. Find the menu on your left. Click “Jobs”.

        7. Select “Employment”.

        8. To add employment type, fill the empty fields and click “Add employment type”.

        9. Find the menu on your left. Select “Jobs” => “Job categories”.

        10. To add a new job category, fill the empty fields and click “Add new job category”

        11. Find the menu on your left. Select “Jobs” => “Add job”.

        12. Enter the title and job information for your new job, and fill other fields.

        13. To add the Category, find the appropriate block on your right.

        14. To add the Employment, also find the appropriate block on your right.

        15. Click “Set featured image” button to upload images.

        16. Select the image you want to add and click “Set featured image” button.

        17. When done, click Publish/Update.

        18. Copy the shortcode [jbbrd_vacancy] from the Job board Settings page.

        19. Find pages on your menu. Select “Pages”=>”Add New”.

        

        20. Paste the shortcode to your page and click “Update”.

21. View the page.

22. Here you can see vacancies page in frontend with sorting form fields.

        23. Also you can see your vacancy.  

        24. If you want to add “Send CV” possibility below the offer to Job candidates, you should activate the Sender plugin.

        25. Copy the second shortcode from the Job board Settings page.

        26. Go to “Appearance”=>”Widgets”.

        27. Choose “Text”.

        28. Click “Add Widget”.

        29. Type the title and paste the shortcode. Click “Save”.

        30. Visit your site and log out to see your new login form.

        31. Click “Settings” => “General” on your menu. And find appropriate “New User Default Role” field. 

        32. Now there are two new roles in the pop-down menu (Job Candidate and Employer). Select “Job Candidate”  and save the changes.

        33. Now new user, registered on your website as a job candidate can click “Profile” => “Your Profile”.

        34. Then scroll down the page and find Job candidate options. Click “Browse” to upload CV to the website.

        35. Now select the CV-file and click “Open”.

        36. Uploaded file appeared now on the page. Click “Update Profile”.

        37. In the frontend you can click “Send CV”.

        38. You replied to job offer successfully.
