1. Introduction

Note: Сlick the “Save Changes” button in order to apply any changes.

1.1. Open your WordPress Admin Dashboard and find the menu on the left.

1.2. Go to the “Custom Admin Page” > “Add New” on your dashboard.

1.3. The “Add New Admin Page” page will open.

2. Add New Custom Page

Use the “Add New Page” page to add information and configure a custom admin page content.

2.1. Add Title

Enter the title of a new custom admin page to an appropriate field.

2.2. Add Content

Enter the content of a custom admin page to an appropriate text area.

2.3. Page Slug

Use the “Page Slug” option to change the slug of the created custom admin page.

2.4. Capability

Use the “Capability” option to choose the capability level required for this menu to be displayed to the user.

2.4.1. Level

Choose “Level” to set necessary WordPress User Level to access the custom admin page. Select the necessary value from the dropdown menu. Follow the “Levels” link to learn more about the levels of capabilities.

2.4.2. Capability 

Choose “Capability” to set the necessary capabilities to access the custom admin page. Enter the value into the appropriate text area. Follow the “Learn More” link to learn more about WordPress capabilities.

2.5. Parent

Use the “Parent” option to select the parent menu for the new page. Select the necessary parent type from the dropdown menu.

2.6. Order  

Use the “Order” option to set the necessary order in the menu where this page will appear. Set the appropriate value to the option box.

2.7. Icon

Use the “Icon” option to set the necessary icon to the admin page.

2.7.1. Choose “None” to create an admin page without an icon. Click the “Add Image button or drag and drop files into the window to upload new images from your computer.

2.7.2. Choose the “SVG Code” to enter a base64-encoded SVG using a data URI, which will be colored to match the color scheme. This should begin with 'data:image/svg+xml;base64,'.

2.7.3. Choose the “Image” to upload image from your Media Library.

2.7.4. Choose “Dashicon” to enter the name of the Dashicons helper class to use a font icon, e.g. 'dashicons-chart-pie'.

2.8. Publish

Click the Publish button to save the changes.

2.8.1. Published custom admin pages will appear on the “Admin Pages” page and on the dashboard.

2.8.2. The published admin page may look on a website as follows.

3. Settings

Use the options of the “Settings” page to make the settings applicable to all the custom admin pages of the website.

3.1. Miscellaneous Settings

Use the options of the “Miscellaneous Settings” tab to make the settings regarding the track usage and default settings.

3.1.1. Track Usage

Enable the “Track Usage” option to allow tracking plugin usage anonymously.

3.1.2. Default Settings

Click the “Restore settings” button to reset all the settings made previously and revert them to the default ones.

3.1.2.1. Click “Yes, restore all settings” button to confirm the procedure.

3.2. Custom Code

Use the “Custom code” tab to insert a CSS, PHP, or JavaScript code. To activate the inserted code, enable the “Activate custom … code” option, and save changes.

3.3. License Key

Use the “License Key” tab to activate or check the Pro plugin license.

3.3.1. Pro License

After a successful plugin purchase, you will receive an email notification with a download link and a license key. Activate Pro license by pasting a license key into the “Custom Admin Page Pro License” field and clicking the “Save Changes” button.

3.3.2. Check License Key

To check the license key, click the “Check license key” button. If the entered key is correct, the notification “The license key is valid. Your license will expire on XXXX-XX-XX” will be displayed in the upper left corner of the page.

3.3.3. Manage License Settings

Use the “Manage License Settings” option to change your license settings. Click the “Login to Client Area” button to open your personal Client Area dashboard found on the https://bestwebsoft.com/ website. Browse and download purchased products, change the license domain and copy the license keys.

4. Admin Pages

Use the “Admin Pages” page to make changes in the admin pages, to delete the admin pages, or to do the search.

4.1. Edit Admin Pages

Hover the cursor on the preferred admin page and click the “Edit” button to do the proper editions.

4.2. Delete Admin Pages

Click the “Trash” button to move the selected admin pages to the trash.

4.3. Search

Enter the title of the admin pages and click the “Search pages” button to do the search.

4.4. Filter

Use “Filter” to sort all the admin pages by date.

4.5. Bulk Actions

Use the “Bulk Actions” to, “Edit” or “Move to trash” multiple admin pages.
