2.3 Download the latest available version
1. Introduction
First of all BestWebSoft Team would like to thank you for choosing our product and becoming our client. We hope you will enjoy using the plugin.
The given guide is aimed to provide you with some useful tips to solve problems you may encounter while purchasing or using our products, and namely:
- You haven’t received your download link.
- You have changed your domain binding and now you are getting an illegal use notification.
- You want to view information on your license or extend it.
Almost all of them can be successfully resolved on your personal Client area page by following the link https://bestwebsoft.com/wp-login.php (your username is the email you specify when purchasing the product). If necessary, please, submit "Lost your password" request.
So, the first step to follow is to go to https://bestwebsoft.com/wp-login.php and log in to our site.
2. Licence tab
2.1 General information
2.1.1 Find the menu on the left and click “Client Area”.
2.2.2 You will see a Licenses tab with list of your BestWebSoft products and find all the necessary information including:
- product name and its version;
- host (domain) name;
- license key;
- order number;
- date before which the support and updates are active;
- status of your license;
- the download link;
- option to send e-mail with the download link
2.2.3 If your license already expired, it will be highlighted red.
2.2.4 Put your mouse cursor on an item to see available options.
2.3 Download the latest available version
2.3.1 You can download the latest available version of the plugin for your licence clicking on a download link.
2.3.2 The file will be saved to your computer.
2.4 Get the download link
2.4.1 You can send a download link to your email address by clicking “Email download link.”
2.4.2 A notification will appear at the top of the screen telling that a download link has been sent to the email address specified on your account.
2.5 Extend your license
2.5.1 You can extend your plugin’s licence by clicking “Extend” option (if available). If you don’t have this option available please follow this instruction to extend the license.
You will be redirected to the 2Checkout payment page. Proceed to get payment done and licence extended.
2.6 Changing domains
2.6.1 One plugin can be installed only on one domain and on its subdomains.
2.6.2 Select the domain name you want to change.
2.6.3 Edit the necessary line, typing the new domain name (your_site.com => example.com) and save changes. Do not write “www” or “http://” before the domain name - it will be considered incorrect and will not be saved.
2.7 Domain vs Subdomain
According to Wikipedia, а subdomain is the portion shown before a domain name, separated by a dot (.)
For example, a domain might look like this:
example.com
Whereas the subdomain of this domain might look like this, shown here in bold:
subdomain.example.com
If we go back to our Client Area and examples, example.com is a domain name and subdomain.example.com is its subdomain. Consequently, if a license is bind to example.com, it will work both for example.com and subdomain.example.com; if a license is bind to subdomain.example.com, it will only work for this very subdomain. If you want to make the plugin work on both domain and subdomain, it is necessary to bind your license to the main domain.
Let’s analyze our examples:
Contact Form Pro and Captcha Pro are bind to example.com (domain), consequently they are available on subdomain.example.com, too.
Updater Pro and Gallery Pro are bind to subdomain.example.com (subdomain), consequently they are available only on this subdomain.
3. Billings tab
3.1 General information
3.1.1 You will see a Billings tab with list of products and other services you purchased from BestWebSoft and find all the necessary information including:
- the date and time you made a purchase;
- order number;
- invoice ID;
- total cost you spent on a certain plugin or service;
- current status.
3.1.2 Put your mouse cursor on an item to see available options.
3.2 Invoice printing
3.2.1 You can print an invoice for a certain product or service by clicking on the appropriate option.
3.3 Renew recurring billing
3.3.1 If you noticed that your status is “Recurring stopped” but you want to renew it click “Renew” option to find out how to do this.
3.4 Stop recurring billing
3.4.1 You can stop recurring billing for a chosen product by clicking on the appropriate option.
4. Pro Membership
4.1 Membership Pro provides you access to ALL Pro BestWebSoft plugins. A list of plugins displayed in a drop-down menu.
Note: You can’t assign some plugins to different domains. All the plugins can be available for one domain (and its subdomains) at the same time.
4.2 Click on the plugin you need to download it to your computer.
4.3 You can send a license key to your email address by clicking on the appropriate option. You will receive a unique key which can be used for all BestWebSoft plugins on your domain.
4.4 You can change domain for all the plugins.
Note: You can’t assign some plugins to different domains. All the plugins can be available for one domain (and its subdomains) at the same time.
